Our Beloved Berardo M. Arizmendez, age 90, of Austin, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He worked at Economy Furniture for over 40 years as an upholsterer, and will forever be remembered as a hardworking family man, who loved working on Vintage Cars. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dominga and Delfina Arizmendez , Elena Rodriguez; by his brother, Daniel Arizmendez and his son-in-law, Magdaleno Reyes. Berado is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Carmen Delgado Arizmendez; daughters, Carmen (Magdaleno) Reyes and Bernadine (Hamid) Shotorbani; his sister, Dolores A. Schaeffer; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, April 24, at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main Street, Buda, Texas 78610. Interment will follow at Maria de la Luz Cemetery.
