Obituary of Jesse John Zepeda

Our Dear Jesse John Zepeda, of Austin, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 29, 2017.  Mr. Zepeda proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hipolito “Paul” and Dolores Zepeda.

Jesse is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Shirley Zepeda; his loving children, Jim Zepeda, Jan Reed, Timotheo Zepeda, Lyle Shafer, Laura Arroyo, Shari Lien, Neil Shafer; his siblings, Willie Zepeda, Dorthy Valdez, Lucy Provazek, Aurora Tamayo, and Juanita Garcia; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service to begin at 6:30 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home South Side, 6204 South First, Austin, Texas 78745. A Committal Service with Air Force Honors will begin at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
