Obituary of Isabel Castillo

Our Beloved Isabel Castillo, age 81, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 13, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Juan Castillo; parents, Eufemio and Barbara Guzman; son-in-law, Juan Rocha; grandson, Angelito Castillo; and great-grand daughter, Cassandra Gandarilla-Castillo.

She is survived by her children: J. Cruz (Laura) Castillo Guzman, Guadalupe Rocha, Juan (Rosa Martinez) Castillo Guzman, Jose Antonio (Irma) Castillo Guzman, Maria de Jesus Castillo Guzman, Lourdes (Juan) Arias; brothers: Fidel, Andres, and Angel Guzman; sisters: Juana, Altagracia, Piedad, Luz, Antonia and Leonides Guzman; 20 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Funeral Home Chapel will open at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

The Castillo family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time and would especially like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Mrs. Castillo.
