Our thoughts and prayers are with Anthony's family and friends.
Anthony was a light to everyone who knew him. His talent will be forever remembered. We loved watching him play with the Crooks as much as he loved preforming with them. Gone way too soon but suffers no more in Heaven.
Anthony my good friend, it hurts me to write this but I want everyone to know how much I cherished you as a friend. I remember senior year high school in english class we built our friendship through the love of rap music. The album Distant Relatives by NaS and Damian Marley was our sound track that year. Everyday we would head out to lunch debating on which fast food joint to hit up with the few dollars we had. What I’d give to have a few more lunches like that with you. We had some good talks and you will forever be missed.
I just thought I'd share one of my favorite memories with Anthony. We were still in high school, maybe even middle school... and I remember my dad brought me over to play music. Big Anthony taught me a couple of chords on the piano, and Anthony was playing his accordion, and I think even guitar. At one point in the night they even tried to teach me the accordion, and lets just say it wasn't my thing. We laughed so much, and had such a great time that night. My dad recently passed a couple of months ago, and unfortunately it doesn't get easier. And I keep on asking my self the same question, why. Life seems like it stops for you, and keeps on going for everyone else, and that's become one of the hardest things. But you have to remember the good times and keep on going. I'm always here for yall if yall need anything. Love yall.
I miss you so much my dear friend. My heart goes out to your family. I love you.
