Obituary of Juan Serna Rodriguez, Jr.

Our beloved Juan Serna Rodriguez, Jr., age 41, resident of Lockhart was called by our Heavenly Father on October 14, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Lee Ruiz; his nephew, Joe Angel Ruiz; and his great grandmother Susie Lopez Acosta

Juan is survived by his loving fiancée, Iris Rosalez; his precious children, Mary Selena Rodriguez, Aniyah Rodriguez, and Alexander Rodriguez; his beautiful grandchildren, Neveah Sepulveda, Jazmine Rodriguez-Sepulveda, Faith Sepulveda, and Jessie Rodriguez-Sepulveda; his beloved mother, Mary Irene Conde, and his stepfather, Fermin Montealvo; his grandmother, Esperanza Saldaña; his uncle, Johnny Acosta; his brother John Manuel Ruiz, and wife Carrie; his sister, Rosemary Ruiz, and husband, George Rodriguez; his step-son, Tino Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St.  Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017, also at Mission Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
