Obituary of Emilia Vargas De Treviño

Our Beloved Emilia Vargas De Treviño, age 85, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 5, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roberto Treviño Medrano; her parents, Francisco Vargas and Maria Rita Salinas Vargas; and her son, Roberto Treviño.

She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Mary Jane (Miguel) Rank, daughter-in-law Virginia Trevino, Maria (Armando) Cantu, Sergio (Leticia) Treviño, Raymond (Elizabeth) Treviño, Martha (Gilbert Jr.) Limon, Victor (Claudia Cortez) Treviño, Norma Treviño, Mario (Lupita) Treviño, Virginia Treviño and Maria Rita Treviño; 29 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren as well as other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at St. Julia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery,
