Obituary of Carlota Galvan Montoya

Our beloved Carlota Galvan Montoya, age 88, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Garcia; her parents, Estanislou and Camila Galvan; and ten of her siblings.

She is survived by her loving children, Priscilla Garcia, Jesse Ybarra and his wife, Lydia, Carlos Ybarra, Camila Ybarra, Armando Ybarra, and Johnny Ybarra and his wife, Virginia; her treasured grandchildren Antonio Villanueva, Jesse Gutierrez, Emiterio Gutierrez, Jesse Ybarra, Jr., Ricky Ybarra, John Paul Ybarra, Francis Ybarra, Josie Nagera, Jo Ann Nagera, Joyce Nagera, Johnny Ybarra, Jr., and Jeremy Ybarra; her 33 precious great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Canuto Galvan; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Jesse Ybarra, Jr., John Paul Ybarra, Johnny Ybarra, Jr., Jeremy Ybarra, Jesse Gutierrez, and Miterio Guiterrez.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00  p.m., St. Julia Catholic Church, Tillery and Lyons Street, Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
