Obituary of Maria H. Lopez
Our Beloved Maria H. Lopez, age 87, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday February 3, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years Rosileo Lopez; her parents Audencio and Falcunda Herrera; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving children Rosa Marie Torres, Virginia Torres, Helen (Joe) Martinez, Angelita Lopez, and Rosileo “Charlie” Torres; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 18 great- great- grandchildren; and numerous siblings numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cipriano Torres Jr., Ernest Torres Jr., Joseph Martinez, Rosileo Torres Jr., Alex Torres, Ernest Vasquez III, Gypsy Hernandez, and Joe Martinez Jr.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday February 8, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at10:00 a.m. on Friday February 9, 2018 at St. Julia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Elgin Cemetery, 901 W. 2nd Street; Elgin, Texas 78621.
