Obituary of Frank Francis "Possum" Nanez

Our Beloved Frank Francis “Possum” Nanez, 76, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Mary Nanez; brothers Robert Nanez, Jesse Muniz, Henry Nanez.

He is survived by his children Karen Soto (Fabian), Cynthia Jackson (Steve), James Nanez (Doris), Michelle Nanez (Analicia); mother of his children Bertha Nanez; 9- grandchildren; 11- great-grandchildren; siblings Virginia Git, Esther Ledesma, Hope Ochoa (Margarito), Janie Martinez (Steve), Angie Nanez, and Rick Rivera (Hermenia); many loving nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steven A. Jackson, Xavier F. Soto, Isaac Soto, James Henry Nanez, Robert J. Nanez, Richard Nanez, Gene Nanez, and Michael Nanez. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Fabian Soto, Joshua Nanez, Julian Bazan, Bobby Nanez, Ricky Nanez, Jr., Jonathan Nanez, Eric Nanez, Noah Nanez, Gervoni Franklin, Devin Franklin, and Brandon Franklin.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home-South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side 6204 South First Street Austin, Texas 78745. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
