Obituary of Frances Cardona Torres

 Nuestra amada Frances Cardona Torres, de edad 52, residente de Austin fue llamada por nuestro Padre Celestial el miercoles, 4 de abril, 2018.

Fue precedida en la muerte por su madre y su padrastro, Florence Colunga Cortez y John P. Cortez.

A Frances le sobrevive su esposo amoroso, Jose Luis Torres, con quien ella compartió 28 años; sus hijas amadas, Janie Cardona, Isabel Torres, y Marisela Torres; sus nietos preciosos, Alexi Perez, Annalie Perez, Katerina Torres, Jasmine Godinez,  y Daisy Perez; sus hermanos, Florence Martinez, Tony Martinez, Eva Martinez, Lupe Donnelly y su esposo Jerry, Johnny Cardona y su esposa Hilda, y Enrique "Henry" Cortez y su esposa Melissa; numerosos sobrinos, otros familiares, y amistades.

El velorio empesará a las 5:00 p.m. con Recitación del Santo Rosario empesando a las 7:00 p.m., viernes, 13 de abril, 2018 en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Una Santa Misa Funebre comensará a las 11:00 a.m. la mañana siguiente, sábado, 14 de abril, 2018 en la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 1206 East Ninth Street, Austin, Texas.

Servicios para Frances concluirán al cerrar de la Santa Misa.

Our beloved Frances Cardona Torres, age 52, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 4, 2018

Frances was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Florence Colunga Cortez and John P. Cortez.

Frances is survived by her loving husband, Jose Luis Torres, with whom she has shared 28 years; her beloved daughters, Janie Cardona, Isabel Torres, and Marisela Torres; her precious grandchildren, Alexi Perez, Annalie Perez, Katerina Torres, Jasmine Godinez, and Daisy Perez; her siblings, Florence Martinez, Tony Martinez, Eva Martinez, Lupe Donnelly and husband Jerry, Johnny Cardona and wife Hilda, and Enrique “Henry” Cortez  and wife Melissa; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. the following morning, Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East Ninth Street, Austin, Texas. 

Services for Frances will conclude at the closing of Mass.
