Our beloved Adam Lee Chapa Sr., resident of Austin, has joined our Lord In eternal life and eternal happiness in his heavenly home Wednesday March 25,1998 at the tender age of 27. Adam coached T Ball for two years & Flag football for one year with the Greater East Austin Youth League. He will be loved and missed by all of his kids and T Ball team ?The Cubs?. He was loving and caring father and a kind person to all who Knew him. Adam enjoyed basketball & baseball; his favorite team was Michigan Wolverines. Adam had planned to exchange church vows on October 17,1998 with his beloved Julie Christine Castro. He is survived by son, Adam Lee Chapa Jr., daughter, Anastasia Chapa; Parents, Dolores Dottie Chapa and Fidel Jose Campos, Charles Chapa and wife Pat Douglas; Sister: Roxane Chapa; brothers, Edward Chapa and wife Debbie, Carl Chapa and wife Cathy, Marcos Chapa, stepsister, Michelle Bayles; loving Grandmother, Felice Arocha. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and many close friends He was preceded in death by grandfather Marcelo Arocha April 1st, 1997, and Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso Chapa 1980. Rosary will be held on Saturday 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sunday, 2:00pm at Cristo-Rey Catholic Church with Franciscans Friars officiating. Internment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers: Chris Gomez, Rick Lugo, Paul Resas, Frank Gatica, Rene Salazar, Mark Estorgia, Rufus Vasquez, and Robert Lee Martinez Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: T Ball team ?The Cubs?
