Nicolas M. Velasquez September 10, 1921 ? March 17, 2009 Our beloved Nicolas M. Velasquez , age 87, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Mr. Velasquez is survived by sons Oscar Velasquez, Enrique Velasquez; daughters Melissa Garcia, Belinda Velasquez; son-in-law Juan Loredo; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Aurora Velasquez and daughter Angelita Loredo. Serving as pallbearers will be Oscar Velasquez Jr., Rick Velasquez Jr. Matthew Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Gilbert Loredo and Tony Rodriguez. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Friday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Internment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
