Pedro Zuniga Obituary (2021)

Our beloved Pedro Zuniga was called home to our Heavenly Father, on Sunday, September 12, 2021. He is preceded by his parents, Amado Zuniga and Fidencia Perez Zuniga; daughter Martha Zuniga; siblings, Alberto Zuniga, Jose Zuniga, Concepcion Zuniga, Carmen Zuniga, Angel Zuniga, Josefina Zuniga and Elena Zuniga. Pedro is survived by his loving wife, of 56 beautiful years, Maria Luisa Zuniga; his adoring children, Guadalupe Zuniga (Ascencion), Maria De Los Angeles Zuniga (Jose Luis), Pedro Zuniga Jr. (Maricalla), Raul Zuniga, Maria De Jesus (Jose Alcala), Juan Zuniga (Guadalupe) Roberto Zuniga, Antonio Zuniga, Ana Cristina Zuniga (Ramon), and Angelica Zuniga Salas (Josue); as well as 32 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and numerous loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South 1st St., Austin, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at Primera Iglesia Bautista de Austin, 2100 E Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78741, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Services will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
