Our beloved Una Markel Rojas, age 86, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She is reunited with her parents, Valente Martinez Robledo and Andrea Portillo Pando; and her brothers, Ramiro and Armando Martinez. Markel is fondly remembered by her loving son, Antonio Rojas; her brother, Mario Martinez; many extended family members and numerous friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street. Services for Markel will conclude at the close of the evening on Monday.
