Our beloved Edward Charles Guerrero, Sr., age 68, resident of Del Valle, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 5, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose S. Guerrero, and Henrietta Guerrero; his son, Edward Charles Guerrero, Jr., and his brother, Joel Guerrero.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Manuela Guerrero; his children, Richard Jose Guerrero (Lupita), Adam Guerrero (Mikyla); his grandchildren, Aurelia Guerrero, Mateo Guerrero, and Osvaldo Guerrero; his siblings, Virginia Hartman, Elizabeth Chester, Felix Guerrero, Joe Guerrero, Jr., Demetrio Guerrero, Jerry Guerrero, Paul Guerrero, and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws, and other loving family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Guerrero, Carl Chester, Corey Chester, Joe Banda, Jesse Banda, Jason Garcia, John Garcia, and Albert Ybarra.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th Street, Austin, Texas 78702.
Interment to follow after at Assumption Cemetery.
