Our beloved Rose C. Synder, age 81, born in Austin Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chief Master Sergeant William Franklyn Synder, USAF, Retired; her mother, Ophelia Milicia; her father Robert Corona; her siblings, Elizabeth Cantu, Robert Corona and Lawrence Milicia.
Rose lived in East Austin and was second to the oldest of nine children. She attended St. Mary's Cathedral School and St. Mary's Academy where she was well known and involved in many school events. Her most favorite hobby was creating ceramics and gifting to family and friends. She also really enjoyed playing BINGO. Rose worked at Spartan Department store for some years, and then proudly worked for Southern Gas Company in the accounts receivable department. She will be missed dearly and the beautiful memories she shared with us will be remembered always.
Rose is survived by her children, Paul Barron, Joseph Barron, Diana Barron, Frank Barron, Evelyn Overton, Jeff Barron, and Sarah Synder; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Charles Corona, Dorothy Renteria, Angelica Castro, Michael Milicia, Angelo Milicia; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family and friends.
A Communion service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St. Austin, Texas 78702.
Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemtery, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., 11463 TX-195, Killeen, Texas 76542.
