Our beloved mother and grandmother, Julia R. de Ruiz, age 83, resident of Austin, joined our Heavenly Father peacefully at her home on Friday, JULY 14, 2000. Our mother left us with beautiful memories and her strength of faith to sustain us. You will forever live in our hearts, as we know you will be watching over us. Mrs. Ruiz is survived by two daughters, Maria del Socorro (Corky) R. de Juarez and Blanca Marisela Santos both of Austin, brother, Alfredo Ruiz Leal of Laredo, Texas; sisters, Celeste R. de Morales of Mexico, DF, Isabel R. de Miettinen of San Francisco, CA, Delfina R. de Solis, of Austin, Carolina R. de Martinez of Monterrey, MX. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Carlos, Javier and Melissa Juarez, John, Michael Santos and Leticia Schmidt. Recitation of rosary Sunday, 7pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, 10am at St. Julia Catholic Church, Services under the spiritual care of the Franciscan Friars. Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are grandsons, Javier and Carlos Juarez, John and Michael Santos, Edward and Johnny Solis. Arrangements by Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, 476-4355.
