Our beloved infant Amunique De Jesus-Leal, age 22 months, of Austin, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2001. Our lives are filled with overwhelming Joy because of you, Amunique you have brought love to us no one has ever known before, your smile brightened our days, your laugh made sorrow go away, your eyes filled our soul, and your touch made us whole, we will never forget the love you gave, or the moments we shared day by day, you my little Angel are the brightest star, and even in heaven you will bring more joy, just knowing that once you were ours. Survivors include parents, Alex J. Leal and Francisca De Jesus-Leal; siblings, Yalani & Alex Jose Leal; maternal grandparent, Patsy Vargas; paternal grandparent Emelda Gutierrez; paternal great grandparents, Rafael and Dominga Gutierrez of Bryan; paternal great grandparents, Jose and Anita Vargas; uncles Edwin De Jesus, Rudy Leal of Las Vegas, and Daniel Herrera Jr., all of Austin. She is also survived by a host of immediate relatives. Infant Amunique?s family will receive friends Wednesday, 12pm-5pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, 10:30am at Primera Iglesia Bautista. Reverend Carlos Alsina will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
