Our beloved Josephine Mier Lopez, age 68, resident of Wimberly was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday April 22, 2001. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond Lopez, Sr. and Son John Anthony Lopez. Survivors include: Beloved Children, Raymond M. Lopez, Jr. and wife Sadie, Robert Luis Lopez and wife Sylvia G. both of Austin, Joseph James Lopez and wife Artemia of California, Stella L. Monreal and husband Tony of Houston and Anita L. Saldana and husband George of San Antonio; Sisters, Alice M. Chavarria, Rosie M. Falcon, Janie M. Vela, Gloria M. Elson, Connie M. Gonzalez, Marie Louise M. Reyes, Mary Ann M. Bird and Angie M. Garcia all of Austin; Brothers, Vivian Mier Jr., Joe Mier, and George Mier all of Austin. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary Tuesday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday 1:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are her grandchildren and members of the family.
