Obituary of Ruven Piña Sr.

Our Beloved Ruven Piña Sr., age 69, of Del Valle, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday December 20, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andres Piña Sr. and Gregoria Vallejo and his sister Edwarda “Cuca”.

He is survived by his children: Ruben (Cindy) Piña Jr., Georgia (Bernandino) Gonzalez and Elizabeth (Jose) Ramirez; siblings, Cecilia, Andres, Seferino, and Guadalupe; grandchildren: Vanessa, Vincent, Jessica, Georgia Ann, Peter, Selena, Antonia, Jonathan, Fernando, Guillermo, Brandon, Daniel, and Mari; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
