Obituary of Olivia Alvarez

Our Beloved Olivia Alvarez, age 66, of Manor, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday January 8, 2018.

Olivia was a member of the ACTS Community, St. Vincent de Paul and Cursillo Movement. She retired from A.I.S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents Apolinar Alvarez and Dolores Martinez Alvarez and her siblings Faustino Martinez, Maria Luisa Alvarez and Apolinar Jose Alvarez.

She is survived by her children Jennifer (Gabriel Leybas) Carmona and Jonathan (Renee Rivera) Carmona; her children’s father Albert Carmona Jr.; grandsons Benjamin Copeland and Noah Leybas; adopted granddaughter Liela Aleman; siblings Mary Trinidad (Eddie) Hernandez, Rosa Gil, Virginia Alvarez, Gloria (David) Ruedas, Apolinar “Paul” (Patsy) Alvarez Jr., Rachel (Joe) Canalas, Adolfo Alvarez; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday January 11, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday January 12, 2018 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. This will conclude services.
