Our beloved Juanita G. Flores age 98 resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday August 2, 2001. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years Guadalupe Flores.Although they never had children of their own, Guadalupe and Juanita Flores, affectionately known as Tia Vita to many and grandma to many others, raised, loved and were loved by five generations of the Flores, Martinez and Salas Family. She was the mainstay and matriarch of the Flores Family. Survivors include: Beloved Daughter, Margarita S. Flores of Austin; along with more immediate family members; Crecencio (Chencho) Flores, Frank Flores, Maria F. Martinez, Andrew Flores, Bendardino (Benny) Flores, Jesse Flores, Enrique (Henry) Flores, David Flores, Samuel (Sam) Flores, Julia F. Candelas and Cecilia (Sheila) Giles all of Austin. She is also survived by a five generations of great nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren family members whom she loved and cherished dearly all their lives. Recitation of rosary Sunday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday 9:45am at Dolores Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Ed Kadzielawski will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Anthony Salas, Larry Salas, Jesse Flores, Sammy Flores, Walter Dimry and Jerry Candelas. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Ruedas and Johnny Flores.
