Obituary of Cruz Trevino Lopez

Our Beloved Cruz T. Lopez Sr., age 85, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday March 20, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gumecindo Lopez Sr. and Francis Trevino Lopez and his brothers Gumecindo Lopez Jr. and Guadalupe Lopez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Guadalupe Ruiz Lopez; his beloved children Sylvia Lopez, Cruz Lopez Jr., Margaret Lopez, Lawrence Lopez, Roy Lopez, Felix Lopez, Becky L. Paxtor and her husband Edwin R. Paxtor Sr., and Michael Lopez and his wife Michelle Lopez; his sisters Sandy Lopez and Mary Guzman; brother Frank Lopez; 23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday March 26, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street;  Austin, Texas 78745. Scripture service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery with Military Honors.
