Obituary of Timotea Ruiz

Our Beloved Timotea “Paz” Ruiz, age 94, of Garfield, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 23, 2018 in Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years Conrado Ruiz; parents Conrado Rodriguez and Marcela Lozano Rodriguez; son Atavano Ruiz; sisters Rita Medina and Lucia Hernandez; great granddaughter Princesa Martinez; and grandson Teodoro Ruiz Jr.

She is survived by her loving children Teodoro Ruiz, Domingo Ruiz, Paul Ruiz, Florencia Estrada, Guadalupe Vasquez, Guadalupeno Ruiz, Timotea Guerra, Conrado Ruiz Jr., and Jorge Ruiz; her siblings Senovia Medina, Petra Salazar, Mateo Rodriguez, Dora Lucio, Maria Louisa Contreras, Lorenzo Rodriguez, and Juan Rodriguez; 34 grandchildren; 83 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street;  Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery (Formerly Mendoza Cemetery) S183, Mendoza, Texas
