Obituary of Pedro Arellano

Our beloved Pedro "Pete" Arellano, age 89, resident of East Austin, was called to our Heavenly Father, Thursday, April 12, 2018.  He passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Agustina Arellano and his siblings, Benito Arellano and Felencia Rodriguez.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elodia Benitez Arellano; his children, Peter (Claire) Arellano, Henry "Rick" (Rosie) Arellano, and Louis (Diane) Arellano; six grandchildren, Chez Guilbeau, Monica Arellano, Sarah Marie (B.J. Mares) Arellano, Christopher Louis (Vanessa Escobar) Arellano, Stephanie Marie (Jonathon Goodson) Arellano, and Pete Anthony Arellano; four great-grandchildren, Adrian Escobar, Jacob (Alfred) Salazar, Joshua Salazar, and Vanessa (Andy Levrier) Salazar; one great-great grandchild, Athena Levrier; his sisters, Lupe Terejina and Goa Benitas; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez  St., Austin, Texas.  A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment at Assumption Cemetery.
