Obituary of Henry Contreras

Our beloved Henry Contreras, age 49, resident of Austin, born February 26, 1969, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 26, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jacinto Contreras, his brother, Henry Quiroz, and his grandparents Jacinto and Concepcion Contreras and Juanita and Manuel Ramirez.

Henry is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Modesto and Isidra Torres; his siblings, Steve and Elida Quiroz, Rosabel and Ana Contreras, Samuel and Sandy Contreras and Juanita and Isaac Rodriguez; stepsisters, Nicole Cookes and Susie Zander; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Steve Quiroz, Samuel Contreras, Jesse Davila, Ysidro Lucio, Christopher Quiroz, Isaac Rodriguez, Frankie Rendon, and Rosabel Contreras.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2018, with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.

Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018, St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery St., Austin, Texas.  Services for Henry will conclude following Mass.
