Obituary of Pete A. Gomez, Jr.

Our Beloved Pete A. Gomez Jr., age 84, was called to our Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his wife Hermelinda Gomez; daughter Diana Rodriguez; brothers Ben, Lorenzo, Alex and Victor Gomez; and sister Isabel Dominguez.

He is survived by his children sons Richard, Robert, David and Daniel Gomez; brothers Roy, Johnny, Frank and Joel Gomez; sister Teresa “Teri” Guzman; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side located at 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78702.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Julia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
