Obituary of Xavier Gerard Zamora

Our Beloved Xavier Gerard “Gerry” Zamora, age 61, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elias “Lee” Zamora, Sr.; and his brother, Ruben Zamora, Sr.

He is survived by his daughters, Melanie Zamora, and Melinda Zamora and wife, Ermelinda Solis;his mother, Lucille Sepulveda Zamora; his grandchildren, Andre Calixto, Jr., Jacob Cervantes, and Alyssa Clemons; his siblings, Elias Lee Zamora, Jr., John Zamora, Sr., Zack Zamora, Sr., Paul Zamora, Sr. , Ronnie Zamora, John Cortez, Herb Cortez, Bernadette Hyatt, Jessica Baca, Lisa Lerma, and Cesily Bosley; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018  at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street;  Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest.. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
