Obituary of Lorine Sifuentes Menchaca

Our Beloved Lorine Sifuentes Menchaca, age 71, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, October 5, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years Paul G. Menchaca; her daughter, Lisa Menchaca; siblings, Wile Sifuentes, Maria Cerda, Ygnacio "Nacho" Perez, Simon Sifuentes, Delia Elizondo, Lupe Sifuentes, and Lorenzo Sifuentes, III, and her parents, Lorenzo Sifuentes II and Agapita Hazo Sifuentes.

She is survived by daughter Loretta Menchaca; siblings, Benny Sifuentes, Tina Sifuentes, Mary Menchaca, Jesse Sifuentes, Sr., and Joe Sifuentes, Sr.; her beloved fur grandbaby, Chanel; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was always caring, loving and nuturing towards all who met her.  Everyone always loved to visit her and eat her wonderful cooking, especially her famous strawberry cake.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Honored Pallbearers will be Joey Sifuentes, Leonard Menchaca, Jr., Edward Caballero, Jr., Jesse Sifuentes, Lorenzo Sifuentes, IV, and Martin Perez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018  at Jubilee Christian Center; 2909 W. William Cannon Dr.; Austin, Texas 78745. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Jubilee Christian Center. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
