Obituary of Jesus Medrano

Our beloved Jesus Medrano, age 88, resident of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 22, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albino and Maria Medrano; son, Paul Medrano;  siblings, Roberto Hinojosa, Lucia Hinojosa, Jerry Hinojosa, Frank Medrano, Ricardo Medrano, and Ramon Arredondo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Amada Medrano; his children, Maria Calderon (Juan), Yolanda Ruiz (Wenceslao), Jesse Medrano,Jr., and Jose Medrano (Mary Jane); 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, and numerous other loving family and friends.

In addition, Jesus is survived by his brother, Joe Medrano.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side located at 1615 E. Cesar Chavez  Street, Austin, Texas 78702. A Scripture Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at  located at Mission Funeral Home – East Side located at 1615 E. Cesar Chavez  Street, Austin, Texas 78702. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
