Obituary of Jesse Guillen

Our beloved Jesse "Honey" Guillen, age 61, resident of Austin, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 23, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Susie Hinojosa, and his grandparents, Tomasita Ybarbo Guillen and Eusebio Guillen.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marisa "Marcie" Guillen; his children, Ashlie Elaine Guillen, Jessica Guillen Esparza and her husband, David, and Audrie Nicole Guillen; his granddaughter, Taylor Brooke Esparza; his father, Albert Guillen and wife, Janie; his brothers and sisters, Susan Guillen, Albert Guillen, Jr. and wife, Beatrice, Eddie Guillen and wife, Melinda, David Eusebio Guillen and husband, Joseph Thomas, and Ben Hinojosa and wife, Monica; his beloved furbaby, Khloe, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Jesse retired with 30 years of dedicated service to the City of Austin and Austin Water.

Honored Pallbearers will be David Guillen, Eddie Guillen, Albert Guillen, Jr., John Henry Limon, Joe Michael Limon, Robert Garcia, Louis Limon, Jr., and Paul Limon, Jr.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wedensday, January 2, 2019 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019, San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave., Austin, Texas.  Services will conclude following Mass.
