Obituary of Mario Arriaga, Sr.

Our Beloved Mario Arriaga, Sr., age 54, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marcelino and Janie Arriaga and his brother David Arriaga, Sr.

He is survived by his children: Nicole Arriaga, Mario Jr (Janelle) Arriaga, Andrew M. (Rachelle) Arriaga and Jonathan Rene (Casandra) Arriaga, siblings Sadie A. Salinas, Felix (Alice) Arriaga, Delia A. (David) Casarez, Glenda Arriaga, Gloria A. (John) Hernandez and John (Linda) Lopez; 16 grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Dolores Catholic Church.

This will conclude services.

A benefit for Mr. Arriaga is being held from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 512 West Stassney Lane Unit 100, Austin, Texas 78745.
