Our beloved Sixta Galvan, age 76, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday January 30,2002. Survivors include: her Children Maria Renaud, Robert Hernandez, Rose Prince, Paul Galvan, Joe Galvan, Brother?s Tony Hernandez, Jr., Candelario Hernandez, Genaro Hernandez, Joe Hernandez all of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Nash Hernandez, Raymond Hernandez, and Frank Hernandez, Grandson James Ray Prince.
Recitation of rosary Friday, February 1, 2002 at 7:30 P.M., in the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday February 2, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. in San Jose Catholic Church. Rev. Father Luis Moreno and Deacon Romeo Sanchez will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Paul Galvan, Paul Anthony Galvan, Blake Edwards, Ben Alvarez, Joe Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez.
Honorary pallbearers are Tony Hernandez.
