Obituary of Ciriaco M. Castillo

Our beloved Ciriaco "City" M. Castillo, age 85, a resident of Manor, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was reunited with his parents, Ciriaco and Francisca Moreno Castillo; his sister, Cecelia Castillo; his nephew, Adam Castillo; his great-grandchildren, Alfred Lee Verastegui and Vanessa Marie Verastegui; and his great-nephews, Frankie Castillo, Morris Davis, Hector Arroyo, and Johnny Castillo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary S. Lopez; his daughter, Isabel Castillo; his step-daughters, Rebecca Lopez-Roeper, and her husband, Fred, Carolyn Ray, and her husband, Del, and Patricia Markert, and her husband, Jody; his grandchildren, Valerie Amaro, John Thomas Lopez-Roeper, Mykaela Lopez-Roeper, Erik Ray, Shelby Markert, and Seleste Markert; his great-grandchildren, Janessa Amaro, Josselyn Amaro, Elaria Ray, and Elijah Ray; his nieces and nephews, Ricky Castillo Ortiz, Alfred Castillo, Frank Castillo, Stella Castillo, Tina Castillo, Candy Posada, Adelita Ramirez, and Mona Castillo; 28 great-nieces and great-nephews; numerous other family members, and many friends. 

The Castillo Family calls to the honored position of pallbearer:Jody Markert, Erik Ray, JT Lopez-Roeper, Ricky Castillo, Alfred Castillo, and Frank Castillo.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning at 11:00 a.m.,  Friday, April 12, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East Ninth Street, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
