Our beloved Raymond Hernandez, age 75, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday September 27, 1999. Mr. Hernandez was known to many of His Family and Frinds as ?Tio Pio?. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: Daughter Cecilia Hernandez, His Beloved Niece and Caregiver: Barbara Alvarez, His Angel?, Brothers, Candelario M. Hernandez, Frank M. Hernandez and wife Margaret, Tony M. Hernandez and wife Ruby, Genaro ?Jerry? M. Hernandez, Joe M. Hernandez and wife Nelli, and Sister Sixta ?Tina? H. Galvan, all of Austin. He is Also survived numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceeded in death by beloved parent , beloved wife Salome Hernandez, and brother Nash Hernandez. Recitation of rosary Wednesday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday 1:30pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. William Elliott OMI will officiate. Rite of Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Everett and Ben Alvarez.
