Obituary of Julio Gonzales

Our beloved Julio "Jay" Gonzales, age 34, was called home on Monday, May 13, 2019 in Austin, Texas.

He is survived by his mother Maria de la Luz Collazo; son Jayden Gonzales; daughter Ryan Capri Stemmermann; sisters Crystal Hernandez and Laura Villegas; grandmother Maria de la rosa Mendoza; brother-in-law Alfredo Villegas; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

The family has established a GoFundMeJayGonzales  page to help offset the funeral and burial expense.

Family and friends, in addition to the Gofundme account that has been set up for Julio, we will be holding a benefit to cover funeral expenses on Sunday, May 19th. It will be held in the Autozone parking lot located at 512 W Stassney Lane; Austin, Texas 78745, starting at 10 am.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Assumption Cemetery.
