Obituary of Christine M. Garza

Our Beloved Christine Garza, age 78, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Luisa Mary Zuniga Perez; brother, Arturo Zuniga; and her grandson, Abraham Zambrano.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Andrew Garza, Sr.; children: Mary Jane (Abel) Zambrano, Arthur (Josie) Garza, Jerry Garza, Sarah (Gabriel) Morales, Pearl (Delfino) Garza Torres, Andrew (Nicole) Garza, and Christopher (Linda) Garza; 6 sisters; 3 brothers; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at St. Julia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
