Our beloved Brother Martin Maciel, age 62, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on April 26, 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents Isidro and Trinidad Maciel. Survivors include: Aunt; Eusebia Perez, Sisters; Sarah Maciel, Julia Ortiz, Minnie Arevalo, Lupe Maciel, Lucille Maciel, Inez Garza and husband Frank, Anna Maciel-Martinez and husband David and Diana Monagas and husband John, Brothers; Isidro Maciel, Jr., Robert Maciel and wife Roseanne, Jesse Ortiz and wife Mary, Joe Maciel and Karen Baker and Sam Ortiz all of Austin. He is also survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Recitation of rosary Monday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00am at Our Lady of Gudalupe Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. J.C. Cain, OMI will officiate. Interment will follow in Maria dela Luz Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Mark Choo, Thomas Choo, David Martinez, Robert Maciel, Jr., David Vega and Louie Vega.
