Obituary of Concepcion Castor Cruz

Our beloved Concepcion Castor Cruz, age 84, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Monday, November 4, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife Elena Cardenas Cruz; his parents, Filomeno & Maria Cruz; and his brothers, Antonio Cruz, Juan Cruz, and Luis Cruz.

Concepcion is survived by his son, David Cruz, and his wife, Maribel; his grandchildren, David Gregory Cruz, Daniel Guadalupe Cruz, Javier Concepcion Cruz, and his significant other, Julia Comita, and Guillermo Miguel Cruz; his great-grandchildren, Rozlyn Elena Cruz, Mariana Cruz, Antonio Cruz, and Vaughn Thomas Cruz; his youngest brother, Edward Cruz; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2019, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East 9^TH Street., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Hornsby Bend Cemetery.
