Obituary of Joe Perez

Our beloved Joe "Joey" Perez III, age 38, resident of Austin, Sunrise October 17, 1981; Sunset December 3, 2019 was born into eternal life on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Joe and Rita Perez and grandfather, Lee Ben Ruiz. 

He is survived by his father, Joe Perez, Jr., and his mother, Josie Zapata Perez; his grandmother, Victoria Ruiz; his sister, Melissa Perez (Victor Alejo); his nieces, Kalyn Alcaraz (Ruben), Victoria Alejo, and Aubri Alejo; his nephew,  Victor "Andre" Alejo; his great-nephew, Ruben Alcaraz, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his dog, Twitch. 

Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Funeral Mass will take place the following morning, Monday, December 9, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East Ninth Street, Austin, Texas. This will conclude services for Joey. 

Joey's last text to his mother, "Thank you Mommy. Love you're my world."

Pallbearers will be Andre Alejo, Luke Cedillo, Ricky Villanueva, Victor Alejo, Gil Amexcua, Jr., Joe Angel Sandoval, Ruben Alcaraz, and Michael Calderon.
