Obituary of Raul C. Salazar

Our beloved Raul C. Salazar, age 65, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. He is reunited with his parents, Alejandro Salazar and Connie Cruz; and his brothers, Nicholas Salazar, Robert Salazar, and John Contreras. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Salazar; his children, Raul Ross Salazar, Jr., Alice Marie Salazar, and Cindy Salazar; his grandchildren, Mariah Lisette and Analicia Marie Arriaga; his siblings, Suzie Salazar, Refugia Garcia, Richard Salazar, Billie Joe Salazar, Roy Salazar, Mary Torres, Ramona Flores, Jesse Cantu, Rudy Cantu, Georgina Cantu, and Connie Lou Cantu; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:00 a.m, followed immediately by Funeral Liturgy, on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
