Obituary of Felix R. Perez

Our Beloved Felix Reynaldo Perez, age 75, of Austin, Texas, was called Home on Thursday, January 9, 2020.

Felix proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He retired from Employee Retirement System of Texas. In retirement he was an Uber driver and prided himself in the stellar ratings he received from his clients.

He was preceded in death by parents, Felix Rendon Perez and Pilar Cruz Perez and siblings: Dr. Roberto C. Perez, Ricardo C. Perez, Lucia Perez, Delfina Isbell, Ramiro Perez, Heriberto “Ed” Perez, and Dolores Perez.

He is survived by his sisters, Rosie (James) Cosgrove, Connie (Jesse) Villarreal, and Maria Del Pilar Perez; sisters-in-law Grace Perez and Raquel L. Perez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

He loved all his nieces and nephews dearly, especially Anna and her children Kristina, Emilio and Brandon, whom he helped raise.

Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda. Family will host a reception immediately following Mass. Hotel accommodations are available in Buda.
