Obituary of Jose Urena

Our beloved Jose Urena, 66, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 30, 2020. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Manuel Urena & Isaura Rodriguez; and grandson, Paul Adam Delgado.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Esther Cadena Urena; daughters, Moria Urena and Ashley Urena; sons, Jason Hernandez (Mariza) & Isia Urena (Jean); grandchildren: Isaac Delgado (Dahlia), Joshua Hernandez (Alma), Kailey Capetillo, Izabella Capetillo, Faith Rivera, Mia Rivera, Tristan Montoya, Arianna Urena, Desirae Abeita, Destiney Gonzales, Adriana Hernandez; great grandchildren: Daniel Delgado, James Delgado, Eliana Delgado, and Luna Hernandez; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Celebration of Life service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Delgado, Joshua Hernandez, Robert Villarreal, Jessie Corrales, Jason Collins, and Ulysses Urena.
