Obituary of Vicente Alonzo

Our beloved Vicente Nolasco Alonzo, age 81, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 29, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Santos Martinez Alonzo; his sister, Epifania Alonzo Garcia, and his brothers, Domingo Alonzo and Felipe Alonzo.

Vicente is survived by his children, Vicenta Jimenez, Ygnacia Alonzo (Hugo Andrade), Tiburcio Alonzo; Rosie Vargas, Carrie Flores, and Guadalupe "Lupe" Murillo; his sister, Tomasa Alonzo Melchor; 20 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Limited Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. with Private Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020. 

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S IH35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Private Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning.  The Rosary will use Facebook Live to allow those not present to participate.  You may connect with us at 10:00 a.m. for Rosary through this link: Mission Facebook Live Feed.

Coronavirus COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin

Due to the latest Coronavirus Restrictions, implemented on March 17, 2020 by the City of Austin and Travis County, visitation will be limited to 10 people in the chapel at all times.
