Obituary of Ben Montez Olguin

Our beloved Ben M. Olguin, age 80, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, April 3, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Olguin; his mother, Frances Silva, and step-father, Secundino Silva; his sister, Delfina Olguin Lara, and his brothers-in-law, Henry Hernandez and Lupe Perez.

Ben is survived by his children, Ben V. Olguin and his wife, Bernadette of Goleta, California, Anthony Olguin of Houston, Texas, and Adrian Olguin also of Houston, Texas; his grandchildlren, Ross Andrea and Ashley Ariel Olguin; his sisters, Judy Hernandez, Mary Helen Silva Click and her husband, J.R., and Dolores Perez.  Ben is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

The public will be able to pay their respectes between 9:00 a.m. through 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. A private Prayer Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 also at the funeral home.  Ben will be laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Road, Austin, Texas.

The Prayer Service will be lived streamed.  Please use this link, Facebook Live, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 to participate in the services for Mr. Olguin.  In advance, the family offers a special thank you to everyone for their love and support.
