Obituary of Herman Reyes De La Fuente

Our Beloved Herman Reyes De La Fuente, age 28, of Austin, Texas, was called Home on Sunday, April 5, 2020.

Herman was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Bernal Villarreal.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer De La Fuente; children: Mia Reina De La Fuente (3), Isabella Marie Puebla-De La Fuente (9); step children: Emalli Samaniego (13), Adan Samaniego (12), and Ricardo Leal (8); mother, Delia Villarreal; mother, Teresa Gallardo De La Fuente; siblings: Martina De La Fuente; Juan Gabriel De La Fuente Gallardo; Augustin Place-Knipe De La Fuente, Oscar G De La Fuente, Olga Villarreal, and Jesse Villarreal; nephew Brandon Bustos; niece, Jasmine Abundis. He will always be in the heart of many family and friends who also survive him.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Villarreal, Juan G. De La Fuente, Augustin Place-Knipe De La Fuente, Carlos Rosales, David Chavez, Ismael Valadez, and Arturo Jaramillo. Honorary Pallbearer will be his bestman and close friend Jesse Castro. 

Coronavirus COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin

Due to the latest Coronavirus Restrictions, implemented on March 17, 2020 by the City of Austin and Travis County, visitation will be limited to 10 people in the chapel at all times.

Visiting Hours will be from 5:00 - 6:15 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - South SIde.

Live Streaming of the Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020. Please use this link Facebook , to join.

Additional visiting hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - South. Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church followed by private interment at Assumption Cemetery.

The De La Fuente family offers a special thank you to everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life for Herman will be held at a later date.
