Obituary of Pamela Lee Henderson

Please share a memory of Pamela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Pamela Lee Henderson, 60, of Del Valle, Texas received her heavenly wings on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.  She was born February 7, 1960, at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.

Pam grew up in a military family who moved around until finally settling in Austin, Texas.  Pam was an outgoing, adventurous person who had a special zest for life, and she loved everything outdoors.  She was an avid gardener and loved flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds.  Pam never met a stranger and once you met her, you were in her circle forever.  She has countless friends that have been in her life since elementary school.  After high school, Pam started a family and raised her children.  At times she worked two jobs to provide for her children and build a strong foundation for her family.  In 1996 she started a job at H-E-B which became her career, and she rose to a management role.  Pam was loved by her co-workers and customers, alike.  The accolades she received are numerous, but Pam loved her job because of the people.  Spending time with her family was very important to Pam.  She adored her grandchildren and loved fishing at the river with her father.  Her special place was the beach, where she spent time making memories with her family, or in solitude to recharge her soul.  Traveling, going to casinos, or just hanging out with Pam was so much fun.  Pam loved to have fun and would laugh until she cried.  Her laughter was contagious, as was her personality.  Words cannot describe what Pam meant to her friends and family.  Pam left us too soon and her unconditional love and unwavering support for her family will be greatly missed.

Pam was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Colon; daughter, Brandy Colon; husband, Michael Colon; mother, Barbara Henderson; brother, Ronnie Henderson; and her brother-in-law, Ricky Little.

She is survived by her daughter, Misty Colon; son, Lee Colon (Bianca); father, Philip Henderson (Marilyn); sisters, Cindy Little, Debbie Burch (Bill), Kristie Simo ( Patrick); grandchildren, Mikela Reney, Mikael Reney, Zelia Rodriguez, and Bryce Colon;and her aunt, Jeanette Patterson.
