Obituary of Jessie Ramirez Morales

Our Beloved Jessie Ramirez Morales “Chuy”, age 77, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 14, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Morales and Pauline Ramirez Morales; daughter, Esperanza “Hope” Morales; son-in-law Ernest Gonzales; and 6 of his siblings.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Connie Trevino Morales; children: Brenda Morales Ortiz (Ruben), Lorie Morales Gonzalez (Alfred), Jesse Morales Jr. (Cathy), Michael Morales (Irma), Santos Morales (Anna), George Morales (Maria), and Roger Morales (holly); siblings, Maria, Irene, Cynthia, and Robert; 31 grandchildren; as well as numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ramirez Jr., George Rosales, Ernest Gonzales, George Morales, Xavier Morales, Joe Michael Ramirez, Jonathon Morales, and Joseph V. Morales.

Honarary Pallbearers will be Isaiah Ramirez. Anthony Casares, Lina Gonzales, Jacob Granado, Adrian Villareal, Alonzo Zermeno, Briana Morales, Alyssa Morales, and Roger Morales.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery (Limit 60 Guests / Mask Required)
