Obituary of Salvador Rocha-Rocha

Nuestro amado Salvador Rocha-Rocha, de 59 años, fue llamado a nuestro Padre Celestial el domingo 23 de agosto de 2020. Falleció pacíficamente rodeado del amor de su familia. A Salvador le anteceden en la muerte sus padres, Gonzalo Rocha, Sr. y Anita Fernandez Rocha.

A Salvador le sobreviven su esposa durante 40 años, Teresa Rocha Alvarez; sus hijos, Israel Rocha-Alvarez y su esposa, Ana, Carina Rocha Alvarez y su esposo, Salvador Tonche, y Eric Rocha-Alvarez; sus nietos, Angel Rocha, Alexa Rocha, Aliyah Rocha, Anthony Rocha y Olivia Tonche-Rocha; sus hermanos, Guadalupe Ayala y su esposo, José Luis, Jovita Alvarez y su esposo, Jesús, Cecilia Castillo y su esposo, Daniel, María Hilda Tapia y su esposo, Mario Salaya, Jorge Rocha y su esposa, Carmen, y Gonzalo Rocha, Jr. y su esposa, Kristina, y numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos, otros familiares y amigos.

Las visitas públicas se llevarán a cabo de 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. el sábado 29 de agosto de 2020, en Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Las visitas familiares privadas comenzarán a las 11:00 a.m. con un servicio bíblico a partir de la 1:00 p.m. también en la funeraria. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio de Onion Creek, 11610 Chapel Ln., Austin, Texas.

Our beloved Salvador Rocha-Rocha, age 59, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 23, 2020.  He passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.  Salvador is preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo Rocha, Sr. and Anita Fernandez Rocha.

Salvador is survived by his wife of 40 years, Teresa Rocha Alvarez; his children, Israel Rocha-Alvarez and his wife, Ana, Carina Rocha Alvarez and her husband, Salvador Tonche, and Eric Rocha-Alvarez; his grandchildren, Angel Rocha, Alexa Rocha, Aliyah Rocha, Anthony Rocha, and Olivia Tonche-Rocha; his siblings, Guadalupe Ayala and her husband, Jose Luis, Jovita Avlarez and her husband, Jesus, Cecilia Castillo and her husband, Daniel, Maria Hilda Tapia and her husband, Mario Salaya, Jorge Rocha and his wife, Carmen, and Gonzalo Rocha, Jr. and his wife, Kristina, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Israel Rocha, Eric Rocha, Salvador Tonche, Jose Salgado, Jorge Rocha, and Angel Rocha.

Public visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Private Family visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a Scripture Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Onion Creek Cemetery, 11610 Chapel Ln., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
