Nuestro amado Armando Valdez I., de 84 años, fue llamado a nuestro Padre Celestial el lunes 7 de septiembre de 2020. Se une a su esposa, Enriqueta Valdez Perez, de 64 años que falleció en diciembre de 2019. Armando también fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Martín Valdez y Maribel Ibarra, una hermana y ocho hermanos.

A Armando le sobreviven sus hijos, Jose Leopoldo Valdez (Maria de los Dolores), Romelia Rodriguez (Jose Luis), Juan Jesus Valdez (Andrea Ramos), Americo Valdez (Lilliana Lopez), Alvaro Valdez (Cristela Rios) y Laura Guerrero ( Abel); 17 nietos; 25 bisnietos; así como numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos, otros familiares y amigos cariñosos.

El velorio se realizará a partir de las 5:00 p.m. - 21:00. con la Recitación del Santo Rosario a partir de las 7:00 p.m. el jueves 10 de septiembre de 2020 en Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. El servicio bíblico se llevará a cabo a las 10:00 a.m. el viernes 11 de septiembre de 2020 en Mission Funeral Home - South Side. Seguirá el sepelio en Assumption Cemetery

Debido a las restricciones de Coronavirus / COVID-19 de la ciudad de Austin,

los niveles de capacidad están restringidos y reducidos en las funerarias, iglesias y cementerios.

Cada persona que ingrese a la funeraria, la iglesia y el cementerio deberá usar una máscara.

y practicar el distanciamiento social de 6 pies o más. Si está enfermo o le preocupa el virus,

Our beloved Armando Valdez I., age 84, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, September 7, 2020.  He joins Enriqueta Valdez-Perrez, his wife, Enriqueta Valdez Perez, of 64 years wh passed away December 2019.  Armando is also preceded in death by his parents, Martin Valdez and Maribel Ibarra, one sister, and eight brothers.

Armando is survived by his children, Jose Leopoldo Valdez (Maria de los Dolores), Romelia Rodriguez (Jose Luis), Juan Jesus Valdez (Andrea Ramos), Americo Valdez (Lilliana Lopez), Alvaro Valdez (Cristela Rios), and Laura Guerrero (Abel); 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Scripture Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted and reduced at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
